The show revolves around the Winchester brothers, Dean and Sam, they fight off supernatural beings while they try to find their father after their mother's death. The plot then evolves more dangerously towards beings like Lucifer and Death, but the main plot still stays.

The idea of zombie apocalypses has been very popular in the recent years, and this series portrays the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse.
